Adiàn Benmalek is an actor, working across mediums and projects worldwide.

Hey — I’m Adiàn Benmalek (he/him).

I’ve always been drawn to people who don’t quite fit, who live in between cultures, identities, and expectations. I’m a French-American actor with dual-citizenship, fluent in French, Spanish, and English (and conversational in Italian and Portuguese), and I bring that fluidity into every character I play.

My work often explores grounded, emotionally intuitive characters on the edge of belonging — the Romantic Lead, the Quiet Outsider, or the Watchful Partner who surprises you by the end.

I trained at NYU Gallatin and The William Esper Studio, and I’ve studied with Adrienne Weiss and Mikael Södersten, as well as in movement, mask, and voice. Recent credits include leading The Wild Wild Web (pilot by Janice Nyam), the short film Couples Retreat (dir. Ari Shapiro), and a supporting role in the feature Pocket Dream (dir. Sam Guest & Julia Baylis). I also wrote, directed, and starred in Eucalyptus, a personal short about memory and grief.

Outside of acting, I find peace in nomadic travel with my dog, books (right now The Illustrated Man), dancing to Björk, and Barça matches.

I believe great acting doesn’t demand attention — it invites connection, and at its best, knows how to make magic.

Thanks for being here.
